Except for Selbi, most people here are good posters who tend to think before hitting the "reply" button. I can't speak for everyone, but I don't like to make a lot of useless posts, I tend to post only when I have something important/relevant to say. Because of this, Selbi in a day makes the same amount of posts made by all the other members in a week ^_^
So yeah, you won't be alone for long, just give him time.

You know, SR has members with more that 1000 posts (like you), and you don't allow me to post? =P Also I'm a guy, who need's posting! I had 73 posts before I got banned. When I became unbanned, I was posting without stoping (in 4 months nearly 200 posts)! And I won't stop it! :P

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything...

Correct, the SSRG does require more activity, although with limited advertising this is the end result. You offer a variety of services such as Hacktube yet you're not getting a lot of members.

I was kinda joking, there's nothing wrong in making tons of posts. I guess I exagerate in the other way so it's all good ^_^

As a side note, I used to be a postwhore in the past. I made ~10000 posts in two months once. Now I'm changed, I try to be a good poster :3

OK, let me tell you something thar, sir. Sonic Retro is very active because of its big covering of different topics, all-in-one solution. Those all in one solutions generally tend to have many stupid posters posting without thinking, and that hundereds of times a day. You are turning SSRG into a forum where the last part of former sentence matches exactly. Except that you are pretty much the only one doing so.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but stupid crap-assed posts don't help making the forums more active or even drawing more members to it.

Can I just say that the post count is really just the same as Achievement Points on XBL.
They don't give you magic powers.
They don't make you a respected person.
They don't mean you have a larger penis.
And how many you get in a day doesn't matter either.

And I have to ask what Oerg asked.
Why does everyone compare SR and SSRG? For starters, thats like comparing Russia and Sealand (A real place, apparently, kinda like a full stop in size 10 compared to a full stop in size over9000) And secondly, SR not only has content based on the hacking part of it, but it also focuses on Sonic himself, and more of a community where people can just get together and be friends.
SSRG is, in some ways, similar, but because of so much downtime etc. it is nowhere near the size of it, and frankly, maybe in the previous incarnation, but now I don't think it will ever be as big.

And I'm another one who doesn't like Selbi, but I just don't show it. However, I feel quite annoyed when you make a "useless" post. The constant exclamation marks. And more. It just irratates me. I'm not trying to get myself into bother here, I want you to shape up and get back on the horse. By getting on the horse, you fall off because you did something wrong. As you improve, you stay on the horse for a longer period of time. As you master yourself, you can stay on the horse for an indefinate time. Can you see what I'm getting at? If you want people to like you, shape up. For the sake of yourself.

Also, split please.

Secondly, nobody has to tell me, how much ! I have to use. If you don't like exclamation marks, then try to ignore them, because I don't wanna stop writing them!
And thridly, well, do you mean, you want to "help" me? If so, what do you mean with "Shaping up"? I really don't understand this!

Wait, are we allowing group hate here now? That's kind of shitty, dudes. If he was that bad, then why isn't he banned? Think about that for a second before you keep bitching; you might find that even Selbi is being more fair and reasonable than the rest of you are being right now. It's the horrible irony of these kinds of situations, really.

In the end, if Selbi's posts are totally redundant, then skip over them, don't reply to them, and go on with your lives. It's not a big deal, really. If he was meant to be banned, though, I think he would be banned. I personally banned him at Retro, but he obviously has a place here. That's just something you'll have to accept until that changes.

There's no harm in trying to get this place self-moderating. I could trash this topic but clearly people want to speak about it, if it gets out of hand it'll go, but so far it seems alright. In another topic I thought Selbi was acting poorly, but I decided to let the forum deal with it unless it's a clear rule violation. I just think it's healthier this way.

It's not about being banned or not being banned, it's about trying to keep this place like a functional society without hovering over everyone.

Well, I don't care what Selbi posts. But if it does brake the rules, I'm going to report it to Qjimbo.
Most of people here doesn't like Selbi because of his Sonic 1 Project 255--which included stolen contents of other hacks, his grammar and the thing he always does-- The "!" thing after each sentence.

But Selbi could be very funny, also for his misspellings. And sure he has to learn discipline and how to behave on forums. But don't we have to do that all? :P
So yeah, let's see, what'll happen to Selbi. Maybe he will turn to the better. And it's really senseless to start a hate group against him. That will turn out to nothing. Seriously, guys, stop that. :downs:
I'm not protecting Selbi anyway, but that's my opinion to him.

And Selbi, I don't hate you. I just laugh at you.. Because yeah. Can't explain anyway. :P

Okay, now you are all going to piss me off, all of you (except Qjimbo, Tweaker and SonicVaan). So you want to ban me? Well, if you do that, then you're not doing it right. I know, I'm anyoing for all of you, I know, I'm posting sometimes useless posts and I know my ! are anoying, but this is no reason to ban me. I know, all of you just want one thing: "Ban Selbi!". But do you really think, that I can't learn? If you are thinking like that, THEN you are fools, because if I can't learn, I would create other Sonic 1 Project 255 Hacks with other stolen content. But, have I ever released another hack? No, because I'm helping people and don't create hacks. But the only thing, wich is really anoying me is: This Post Counter is a really unnecesary thing! I mean, would you ban someone only because he has made 200 posts in 4 months? I don't think so. Have you ever thought about a reason for that? I guess no, because you are not thinking before you want to kick someone in the ass. The reason is: I want attention. After releasing my hack, I lost a lot of friends and many people are hating me for that. And since they won't forgive me, they are chopping me down. So to grow up, I tried to get attention by creating "thx"- and "Good work!"-posts. Also, my posts aren't very long, because I'm not good at english. So I can't always say everything I want in proper words. But if all of you want, that I shut my mouth, ok, then I will only talk with PM in the future. Also, thanks to SonicVaan. He's maybe the only one, who can REALLY understand me, because we can talk german!

Ok, I know this posts is very fucked up, and I know you will still hate me after reading this (maybe, hate me more), but if you really wnat this... I will not stop you.

Don't trash this, untill the problem is resolved!
